In the Sanya Social Welfare Institute, the investigation group listened to the report about the support of orphans and disabled children in the institute, inspected the living area, rehabilitation center, classroom, craft room, formula preparation room, kitchen and other functional areas in the institute, and made some detailed inquiries about children's rehabilitation training, physical and mental health, daily living and study, infrastructure construction, epidemic prevention and control, food safety, etc. Li Feng emphasized that children are the future of the country and the hope of the nation, and it is the responsibility of the whole society to protect their basic rights and interests. Children in welfare institutions are mostly orphaned and most of them suffer from serious diseases. Child welfare institutions should strengthen the management and education of staff, reinforce the sense of service, and enhance their relationship with children; establish a sound service system, scientifically formulate nursing plans and teaching content according to children’s physical and mental health; strengthen the construction of professional teams, optimize security measures for medical workers, organize professional training for staff, improve their professional ability, and advance the work of support, treatment, education and rehabilitation to a new level.
